Beads by Tara Retail Store, Union Street San Francisco
Beads by Tara's first retail store was envisioned as a playful, immersive extension of the brand itself. Our scope included the complete interior design concept, custom furniture and display design, creative direction for bespoke murals and decorative elements, sourcing, space planning, and merchandising strategy. Every detail was thoughtfully considered to create a colorful, memorable shopping experience that reflects the joy, creativity, and individuality at the heart of the Beads by Tara brand.

Noe Valley Heritage
Originally built in 1938, the home’s historic character had been stripped away—its warmth replaced by white paint and builder-grade finishes. We set out to restore its essence: saturating the living spaces with color, adding molding and wallpaper for depth, and gutting the kitchen to start fresh. The result is a soulful return to its roots—proof that sometimes, new can feel beautifully old again.

Diamond Heights Maximalist
Set high above the city in Diamond Heights, this San Francisco craftsman designed by a renowned architect in 2002 was ready for a new chapter. We reimagined the dated interiors into a jewel box of color and pattern, honoring its architectural spirit while infusing it with unapologetic personality. De Gournay and Gucci wallpapers, Italian candy chandeliers, a playful animal-inspired elevator, and custom rugs set the stage for a vibrant family of five to live beautifully—and joyfully—among the whimsy.
We are grateful to be featured in many notable design publications over the years:
